Penny Brewer

Penny studied with Chandra Om at the NC School of Yoga in Raleigh, NC and graduated from the 240 hour teaching training certification in April 2005.  Penny’s classes emphasis pranayama (breath work), opening your heart and mind working on letting go of attachment-becoming present in the moment.    Penny likes to say that she wasn’t born into a lineage of great yoga masters, she stumbled upon this science as a means to heal her injuries.  Through this she has added yoga to her life.  She emphasizes that yoga is for everyone, her 89 year old grandmother practices yoga. 

Penny is has completed her 3 year program at Bastyr in Acupuncture and in the fall starts the 2 year program in Oriental Medicine. Penny is now our Director of Wellness and is busy creating new and exciting wellness programs.
